Pukas of this family (hangers) hang themselves to all possible and impossible parts of the human partner’s body. In general, they never leave their partner and their way of life is reminiscent of that of the sloths.
Lazy specializes, with a corresponding extension of the right front extremity, on left-handers; but he also secures his grip with knotted ears; the type of knotting often changes every hour (the Gordian knot is said to have sprung from the brain of such a Puka). He also has a greatly enlarged stumptail, which probably makes sense because not all knots are stable, and T. droites often falls on the buttocks, when he checks the strength of the latest knot and releases his hands from the partner's shoulders.
